Celebrating Census

Foundations Health Solution’s Columbus region had the pleasure of celebrating an overall census of 95% recently. While this is certainly something to celebrate, the idea of what we are truly celebrating holds a different meaning. Foundations Health Solutions’ prime focus continues to be our residents and upholding our Core Values and Culture of Care. Many of our core values are resident-focused and hone in on ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

95% occupancy is attributed to our staff’s ability to uphold our company’s standards and core values daily. Our staff recognizes that we work within our resident’s homes, and we treat them as such. This amazing team of nurses, aides, housekeepers, activity personnel, and kitchen staff has made the Culture of Care a way of life in the workplace. We continue to provide excellent care which not only keeps residents in our care communities but also shines with readmissions when residents go home after a rehab stay and may need to be readmitted for either a respite stay or long-term care.

Today we are proud. Proud of the commitment we have made to our residents. Proud of the difference we continue to make in our community. Proud of the hard work our staff continues to put in. Today we celebrate the fact that 1,108 people were receiving great care. 1,108 people were treated with dignity, respect, and love like family. Within FHS, we don’t just walk the walk; we “walk the talk”. Reaching our goal of 95% occupancy is a reflection of this and the care our residents are provided. This is just the beginning of what’s to come for the Columbus region. 95% occupancy shows our strength and commitment to our residents and collectively we are excited to see what great things the future holds
