Avon Place Nurse Wins Caregiver Award

Another great nurse has caught the attention of Nursing Home Developer, Brian Colleran. Onieda Marrero, an incredible LPN Nurse Manager at Avon Place Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Avon, has been awarded with Brian Colleran's Caregiver of the Month Award for her outstanding success at exceeding resident and family expectations.

Onieda is an outstanding role model for the caregivers at Avon Place. She is able to establish special connections with residents and their families all while taking on the role of a supervisor. No matter what the challenge may be, the staff is comfortable going to Onieda knowing she will be understanding and will help them figure out a solution. She is flexible and always willing to go the extra mile, not only for her residents, but also for her teammates.

Her administrator had this to say about Onieda, "We can always count on Onieda to be the welcoming face for Avon Place. She has been with the buidling for 8 years and you would be hard pressed to hear of a single complaint on her within that time. We are so fortunate to have her on our staff as she is truly a role model for everyone here at Avon Place.
