Swinging for a Cause: Supporting Veterans and Alzheimer's Care in Ashtabula County

Foundations Health Solutions recently hosted its annual charity golf outing on August 9th at the Village Green Golf Course, successfully raising funds for two important causes: the Ashtabula MC Veterans Club and the Foundations Alzheimer's Walk Team in Ashtabula County. The event was a resounding success, with participation from several sister facilities, including Carington Park, Pine Grove Healthcare, Jefferson Healthcare, Saybrook Landing, Mentor Ridge, The Preserve, and Concord Ridge. These facilities, along with numerous sponsors, played a crucial role in making the event memorable and impactful.



The major sponsors for the golf outing included Accurate, DTE Phone, DM Excavating, North East Fire Protection, Med Arbor, and HD Supply. Their generous contributions, alongside the support from numerous hole sponsors and the donation of raffle baskets, helped in making the event a huge success. A total of 27 golf teams participated, showcasing a strong community spirit and commitment to the cause.

The event raised an impressive $7,000, with $2,000 allocated to the Alzheimer's Walk Team and $5,000 directed toward supporting veterans in Ashtabula County. These funds will provide crucial assistance to veterans in need and support efforts in Alzheimer's research and care, reflecting the dedication of Foundations Health Solutions and its partners to give back to the community.
