Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks Major Step Towards New Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

After months of preparation since the February 2023 announcement, Foundations Health Solutions, The Meadows of Marion, Chamber Ambassadors; Misty Hayden, Business Development Officer, The First Citizens National Bank, Raymond Cyrus, Owner/CEO, R&C Coaching, Inc., and guests celebrated this morning with a grounding breaking for Foundations Health Solutions, The Meadows of Marion, 155 Marion Cardington Rd East, Marion, OH 43302.



Foundations Health Solutions is excited to announce the expansion of our Culture of Care in Marion, Ohio. Foundations Health Solutions, Ohio's premier long-term care company, manages 63 nursing homes specializing in physical therapy, skilled nursing, quality outcomes, and resident satisfaction. Coming Spring of 2024 The Meadows of Marion, a state-of-the-art 99 private room facility, will offer a variety of care needs. "We're excited to be able to offer a new, best-in-class care for the seniors who call Marion their home," Foundations Health Solutions Vice President of Culture Robert Speelman said. “We are passionate about upholding our Foundations Culture of Care, and employing team members that live out that Culture every day. Marion has a rich history that Ohio is proud of, and we are excited to now have a chance to be a part of that wonderful history.” The facility will offer an enhanced dining experience, activity room, salon services, training room, and a state-of-the-art therapy gym.



To mark the momentous occasion, the Marion Area Chamber Ambassadors and special guest Bob Speelman, VP at Foundations Health, Heidi Jones, President, Marion Area Chamber of Commerce, Mike Augenstein, Director of Workforce Solutions, Marion Technical College, Gus Comstock, Executive Director, Marion CANDO!, Charles Speelman, Superintendent, Tri-Rivers Career Center, and Matt Bayles, Sheriff, Marion County Sheriff's Office Marion, OH broke ground at the 155 Marion Cardington Rd East, Marion, OH 43302 construction site.



Chamber Ambassador and Executive Director of Marion CANDO!, Gus Comstock stated Foundations Health Solutions' selection of Marion as their newest expansion was made with community input, collaboration, and cooperation. The Foundations team worked closely with many organizations to ensure they were coming to a winning community. They are. We can all be proud of our reputation and business-friendly climate.
